Nature consists of fractals - complex patterns that enlarge in infinite repetition. (ex: clouds, snowflakes, seashells, and crystals)

When I recognized the branch patterns of trees, corals and mountain chains echoing in my blood vessels, and the spiral patterns of my fingerprints in tree rings, hurricanes, and our very own Milky Way Galaxy, I fell in love with the Universe's creative system and majestic beauty.

My goal as a painter is to make images of abstraction from where the audience could recognize such patterns and associate them with their experiences and imaginations.

Planetary Passage (on-going series)

A planet cannot illuminate without a source of starlight. Same for an artwork. Without someone's attention, it could be nothing more than a meteorite floating around the space until it finds an orbit to settle in.

These series of paintings resemble macro planets with individual climates and topographies of Y∞niverse. From a micro viewpoint, they represent small facets, such as, stones and agates, of one planet.
